Some stuff is on eBay but it's SO much more expensive than it actually costs, and going through Yahoo!Auctions is a bitch with all the extra fees you have to pay to get them overseas...

And my stepsister is getting a Mac laptop even though she just got a new laptop last year. gahhhh) and got him a game he already had for the XBox 360. XD;;;

I started watching Dekaranger yesterday. Even though I have so many half-finished dramas....XDDDDDD;;
I like it so far, though I'm only up through episode 14. Then again, I tend to like...just about every sentai I watch I guess XDDD
Umeko's super cute! And I like Hoji too. He looks really familiar, but looking through his Wikipedia page, the only thing I've seen him in before was...apparently he was a guest in an episode of Den-O, and I don't remember random one-episode guests. Huh.
My plan is to watch Deka and Magi before break is over, and hopefully get some dramas finished as well. And I need to finish Ultraman Mebius as soon as the last couple of episodes download...@____@

Alright guys, so here’s my first attempt at sharing some sort of semblance of fic. I tend to not write complete stories, only scenes involving ideas that run around in my head, so I’ve never really shared anything before, but…I guess it can’t hurt, right? I’m not planning on posting these to communities because it’s not full fic. And I am nervous about sharing, so be nice, ok? ._____.;;;
This is a series of 4 scenes from a crossover future universe I came up with in March. It’s…pretty random, but…the scenes all tie together, but they’re separate in the sense that I haven’t actually written any sort of beginning, end, between these four scenes, whatever. Again, it’s not a full story, just the parts that come up in my mind XD;;
The basic setting of this fic is the setting of the Kamen Rider 555/Faiz movie, Paradise Lost. The movie is a sort of AU of the series, where instead of a normal world that has some Orphenochs slowly trying to take over, it's set in a future world where Orphenochs make up almost all of the population, and the only humans left live in hiding, in camps and try to fight back. (it’s not really necessary to watch the movie to understand the story, but I do recommend watching it because it’s AWESOME. part 1. even just the first couple of minutes should give you a good sense of this universe.) I love this kind of setting (as Asuka can confirm XDDDDD) so I had to write something involving that...and then this just kinda happened. I didn't want to write something from the very beginning of the camps and everything though- I wanted to start from the middle, where everything was already set and they were all settled. But in order to do that, and explain everything that was going on, there had to be some sort of newcomer to the camps...and I guess what I came up with was that Eiji went missing right when the Orphenochs started taking over, and then all of a sudden years later, they find him unconscious somewhere. Part 2 was the first thing I wrote way back in March, and I’m not exactly sure where I was going with that plot, but I pulled it a little farther. A couple of hints in part 2 that you’ll get if you’ve seen the movie, if not things are revealed in part 3 anyway =P As for Eiji’s story, I still don’t really know where it’s going XDDD

I still want that to happen, but...I'm 17 now, so I'm older than them, and....nothing ._____. No cool audition opportunities...though then again, this kind of group doesn't happen anymore here. I guess this is why I like idols, because it's kinda...the music that America left behind years ago. I still love these old pop songs, so much more than the popular music today...

It's funny that in all of my classes except Japanese, my teachers always say I need to participate more, because I never talk in class. On the other hand, in Japanese, lately my teacher has been giving me legit GLARES because I participate too much. =/ In my comment for the first quarter, she said she wanted me to use my knowledge of Japanese more when I speak, because I always get nervous when I do oral assessments and things like that so I tend to use basic stuff and freak out. But now...I don't even know what she wants from me. This is a class I've always really been interested in, and I feel like I can really participate, but I've gotten to the point where I feel like if I participate she'll get annoyed at me because she wants the other kids to be put on the spot and have to answer questions as well. I feel bad, because I know she's trying to push us to guess at words we don't know, but I know them so I say what they mean and then she just gives me a Look. And lately we've been learning how to use kanji dictionaries, and reading an article about Doraemon (I don't even know XDD) and there was a kanji we hadn't learned yet, so she wrote it on the board, and without even thinking I was like "oh, that's ijou!" and then she was like "....ok, well Emma just said it, but can you guys find it?" She sounded so exasperated, too .____.
I don't know. I feel stupid for complaining because it makes me sound like I think I'm better than everyone else, and that's not true at all.

Also, I forgot my Japanese textbook in the classroom today. I tend to leave it there cause I never need it for homework or anything, and it's easier than bringing it back and forth....I guess it's time to wing another Japanese exam, yeah? I went into the final exam last year with absolutely no preparation besides 2 minutes of flipping through someone else's book right before the exam started (same situation last year! I keep forgetting this book XDD) and still basically aced it. Within like a half hour. And then my teacher told me I wasn't allowed to leave until an hour was up. ._______.;;; Sooo I guess we'll see how this goes? I just need to memorize this short essay I had to write for it. Plus study for Chinese cause I have that exam tomorrow too T_____T

Now that's it's almost break, graduates are starting to come back to visit. A theater kid that graduated last year came back and hung out all day, then actually came into tech and started helping us o____o I don't think he's staying, but man, it's really just like he never left. As soon as people told him what we were doing, he got on the scissor lift and started working with the group dealing with the lights and everything XDDD
I hope Karan comes back. I never did get to freak him out that much DDD: I still think it's the most amazing coincidence ever that a guy I met online through wotachat who lives in CA just HAPPENED to know a senior from my school through a completely unrelated tech website. Bryan told me to go up to him after tech one day and just be like "oh, Bryan says hi." Karan literally stared at me for a minute and then was like HOW DO *YOU* KNOW BRYAN?! Guys, I hate assessments .____. They're supposed to be "normal tests", but they're in the gym and super stressful and long and...T______T PEOPLE HAVE TO REMIND ME TO ACTUALLY CHECK WHICH ONE IS WHEN, OK? Last year I messed up and ended up going into my Chinese test with no studying at all. Somehow I still got like an A, but this year it's definitely not going to be that easy.
And I have to take chem, which is going to be one of my hardest assessments, on my birthday T____T Plus math, but I'm good at math and it's easy trig stuff so I'll be fine~
I need to really work on studying for these, I think. In hindsight, it probably wasn't a good idea to sign up for the Advent Calendar on the weekend before assessments- but not just any day, I had to sign up for FANFICTION DAY. PEOPLE ARE GOING TO POST TONS OF LINKS AND I'M GOING TO WANT TO READ ALL OF THEM BUT THEN I WON'T GET ANY STUDYING DONE T_______T
The only thing that keeps me going through these is that once the week is over it's BREAK~ and once I go home at the end of the week I get my birthday presents. 8DDD Last year my mom snuck a present in my bag for the week, and I conveniently didn't notice it was there until the actual day of my birthday XDD Now I'll know if she does it this year~

I opened up my PSAT score report today. It arrived last weekend, but my parents were at Disney with my little sister so my aunt got the mail, and I didn't know it was supposed to be coming so I didn't think about it until I got to school on Monday and everyone was like HOW DID YOU DO? but I had to wait until THIS weekend to get back home.
I got a 220 ^______^;;;; 99th percentile~ I left like 5 questions blank in the reading section, so I only got a 70 in that section, but a 75 in both the math and writing sections. The report at the bottom that tells you what to work on was like "...you've mastered math and writing!!" XDDDD But apparently to improve my reading I need to read political essays and philosophical discussions. Yeah uh, not happening, sorry.
I hope this means my mom stops bugging me about the SAT. Seriously...this was done with basically no studying, except for going over a vocab list in a PSAT prep book the two or so days before the test. I need to work on the essay section, yes, but....

There's this speaker system the head of tech has set up in the theater that you hook an iPod up to and it blasts out of the speakers. I brought in my iPod, fully set up with an English playlist (which, really, consists of BoA's English album, some Sweetbox songs, and a bunch of mostly-English songs from j-pop artists XDDDD)...and a kid went "I WANT TO HEAR J-POP!"

At first I thought he was just trying to humor me cause I was disappointed (a couple of the kids told me specifically NOT to play j-pop because it's "screechy" and "annoying"), but then he actually seemed genuinely interested in it. The next day, another girl plugged her iPod in, and a couple songs in the freshman guy was like I'M SWITCHING IT TO EMMA'S IPOD FOR J-POP NOW. The kids who didn't want j-pop got annoyed at me, but hey, for once it's not my fault! XDDDDDD He keeps bugging me about playing Naruto songs, but....I'm going to try and get him interested in some other stuff instead XDDDD

I KIND OF LIKE THESE SUITS BUT WE'LL SEE. I'm mostly excited because all the previous rumors seem to be COMPLETELY fake, even the colors, so what are the chances of that cast rumor being true?! I'm seriously set on disproving that because I want Mao. XD;;;; But you know, at the same time Mao was a rumor too, so it's possible that's not true either....but I refuse to give up hope!
Also THEME SONG RUMORS! Cast rumors are my favorite, but theme song rumors are definitely my second favorite. Nakagawa Shouko singing the opening! She was one of the rumored cast members, but I'm not sure if she'd do both. Therefore I totally want the theme song rumor to come true so there's less of a chance the cast rumor is true XDDDDDDD Also, Tokuyama Hidenori singing the ending?! I love him <333

We did the read-through for the winter mainstage play today. This is going to be so awesome! We're performing Is He Dead? by Mark Twain, I think. It's hilarious! There's a lot of amusing crossdressing. The main story is that this artist realizes that his paintings are only worth something after he dies, so he fakes his death to be able to sell his paintings. After his death, he has to live in disguise as his "widowed twin sister", so he spends almost the entire play in a dress XDD Plus he gets hit on and kissed by another guy....*______* Though I'll have to reserve judgement on that scene until I see the actors play it out, we only read the script so XDD And there are a bunch of other characters with amusing accents, and....it's just so funny XDD I didn't have a script at the beginning, because actors of course got first priority because they actually needed to read their lines, so not all of the tech people got copies of the script. I ended up getting one partway through, but it was missing pages at the end (since it was just a photocopy) and I had to give it back .____. It was much easier to pay attention when I had the script in front of me so I had something to read along with rather than just sitting and listening XDDD
I was really hoping for a good play this season, since I didn't really like the fall play that much when I went to see it. Sadly, I won't get to see it again until tech week in what, February? Because we don't have anything to do with rehearsals, we just deal with sets and lighting and stuff...I can't wait to see what the set's going to be like! *___* We get to see the layout tomorrow, and then it's time to start building it~ I hope I get to work with mostly the set stuff like I did in the spring, I have no idea how to deal with lights and everything. The one time I went up to the lights last year I was SO confused and had no idea what I was doing...

Tech is already starting to take it's toll on me. I have a huge bruise on my arm from hitting it on the side of a platform covered in brads, plus little cuts all over my hands from screws and everything. I hate striking ;_____; Why didn't they finish striking the fall play during their strike week?! The winter tech team shouldn't have to do it for them XDD;;

I GOT INTO THE NEW YORK CITY THEATER TRIP!! I'm so excited. It's 12 kids, and I originally didn't make the cut because I've only participated in one show (plus this season) and I haven't taken any theater classes. But then someone dropped out because of a conflict, and I got the spot <333 At first I was thinking, "but if all the junior and senior theater kids went on the trip last year, does that mean it'll be mostly sophomores this year...?" and wasn't sure if I'd like to go with a bunch of kids I don't know, but it's entirely juniors and seniors this year too! Even though most of them have been on the trip before XD; It's a great group of kids, so I'm looking forward to it~ and we're seeing five Broadway shows! I've never seen any *______* Now I'm so excited for April! And maybe I can be like SO IF YOU ALL LIKE MUSICALS.... and sneak a Tenimyu video in there somewhere >________>

I feel bad for laughing at cute AP Chem lab partner DDD: Basically, last night at like 7:30 we started working on our lab report due tomorrow (he had to hand his in this morning because he's going to a diversity conference thing in Colorado the rest of the week.), partway through I got hungry and went to the kitchen to see if there was food. I grabbed an apple, then after seeing me bring one back, he got up and took one. He stared at it for a while and I was like "....? O___o" Him: "I'm allergic to apples." "..........." I kept telling him it was a bad idea but he said that if he eats apples enough, he'll get unallergic or something. I DON'T THINK THAT ACTUALLY WORKS....XDDD;;;;;; So he ended up taking two bites, then going "...oh shit my lips are swelling, I can feel it" then spent the rest of the 4-hour lab report collaboration session (...we didn't even finish! the adults on duty kicked us out of the common room at 11:15 cause it's supposed to close at 11, and the common room is the only place boys and girls can hang out together DDDDD:) periodically getting up and spitting stuff into the trash being like "...ughhhhh...."
At least he was laughing too. XDD
Apparently he was up until 3 am finishing the essay part of the lab report. I think maybe I should get started on that now...>___>;;

I'm still so happy about this XDDDD The possibility of this getting someone from one fandom into the other just seems so nice and happy and awesome, I love seeing my fandoms mix with each other. Same reason I'm looking forward to Light Novel no Tanoshii Kakikata (Maasa from Berryz + Satou Hisanori from Tenimyu?!) and I love that Aibon has been doing movies with former Tenimyu guys (the Ju-on movie with Setomaru, Hana Oni with a bunch of guys including my love...) Now we just need an H!P girl to star in Goseiger....XDD

That date typically means nothing to me, except...
Today is the day scores come out if you took the SAT or an SATII subject test earlier this month.

I GOT A *760* ON THE JAPANESE SUBJECT TEST.

THAT'S LIKE....OVER 100 HIGHER THAN WHAT MY JAPANESE TEACHER SAID THE GOAL WAS. (it's out of 800, if anyone's not familiar with the SAT system.)
My teacher, who is completely Japanese, born in Japan, etc, has a daughter (a senior here) who took it last year- who only got a 500-something, despite GROWING UP with it. (it's not her first language, but STILL- she's half-Japanese and was way ahead in Japanese classes here.) Sensei told me that for a non-native speaker, in the 600s is really good, and colleges would look at that and go "oh, well considering she didn't grow up speaking Japanese, that's pretty good". SEVEN SIXTY.
Considering this is what I want to do in college - major in languages, or maybe just Japanese - I'm SO excited, because I think this will really help when I apply *______________*

Somehow this makes me feel a WHOLE LOT better, even though I'm sick and out of school today. I went to the nurse before school and she called my mom to pick me up, then I told my mom on the phone, then the nurse was like :O!!!! GO TELL EVERYONE! so I told lots of people before I went back to the dorm. I kinda feel bad for interrupting a Japanese class, but AHHHH I HAD TO TELL MY TEACHER BEFORE I LEAVE FOR THE WEEK. She had the entire class congratulate me ;__________; And my advisor wrote it in huge bubble letters and put it up on her bulletin board above her desk. They were all like I'D HUG YOU BUT I DON'T WANT TO GET WHATEVER YOU HAVE DD: but it's ok cause I understand XDDD I love this school ;___; Even all my old middle school teachers that heard congratulated me and were super excited for me. (the nurse's office is in the middle school for some reason XD;) The middle school secretary, who I've been close with since 7th grade, is going to take me out to dinner sometime next week to celebrate <333 (actually we've been planning that since before but now apparently it's going to be special XDD)

The rest of my class is convinced I'm secretly Japanese. I guess this is more evidence for them XDDDDDD;;;;;;;;
I'm kinda sad I'm missing school though...why today of all days?! We're having Japanese students come to our class and present about famous people in Japan. THAT'S LIKE, MY LIFE RIGHT THERE. I don't get to show off my knowledge of celebrities ;_____; But it's better to stay home and not get other people sick, especially right before Thanksgiving. I'll just have to ask my Japanese teacher who they talked about cause I really am curious. (my guess is Johnny's guys, a political person or two, and like...Hiro-sama. And probably like Ayu or someone super popular like that.)

Plus now I get to have another week to study for this chem test I'm going to do badly on! 8D

if you insist on waking up at 6 am (for whatever reason) when we don't have to be at school until 8, please use the closet light rather than that new light by your bed that faces out towards the entire room, making it just as bright as if you had turned on the main overhead. considering your phone alarm is almost as loud as the freaking fire alarm, and certainly loud enough to wake me up completely, it's the least you could do to be considerate and let me go back to sleep for another hour.

On another note, apparently my AP Chem teacher really really likes me. I met with him during lunch today to go over some reactions for a quiz we have on Friday, and the first thing he does is tell me "oh, I didn't say anything when I handed them back, but I loved your lab report. It looked like you put a lot of thought into it! You got a 27 out of 30, but I ended up bumping your score up to a 28/30 so yours would be the best in the class." I....what? O____o Not going to complain, but....
And he always tells me how he's so happy I'm taking his class and how awesome I'm doing and that he wishes I would do community service with him again. (last year I did it as a winter afternoon program, cause I had to do SOMETHING cause it's required but I don't play any other sports than field hockey...he was the faculty member for the group I was part of.) It's nice but I'm a little creeped out.

well obviously considering I'm updating this.

I don't think I've mentioned this yet here, so I suppose some background information is necessary first. My Japanese teacher is CRAZY. Like, good crazy. Everyone loves her. Class is ridiculously fun. But she's....not very responsible. She explains a project to us, says "we'll start it tomorrow", but by the next day she's already COMPLETELY forgotten. (no one reminds her because we don't like projects.) She gives us things saying, "we'll start the class with this every day this year!" but by the next week it's already forgotten. We can convince her we never finished Princess Mononoke- which took our class two years to finish, and she's convinced we never did so we're going to watch more of it this year too XDD
So basically, her driving? Yeah um. Story time: she was driving a small school mini-bus to pick up Japanese exchange students at the airport, but when she tried to enter a parking garage she blatantly IGNORED the sign in the garage saying the max height, which was shorter than the van. SHE CRUSHED THE *ENTIRE* TOP OF THE VAN.

On another note, tomorrow's my team's last game of the season, against our eternal rival. MILTON YOU ARE GOING *DOWN*. (although lol not happening, considering we've only scored two goals all season and have lost almost every single one of our games. yay freshmen+me team.) We decided to do nail-painting as a team (school colors lol.) but it ended up being really awkward because only the popular girls ended up doing it, but I had already sat down waiting so I couldn't just leave and be like OH LOL CHANGED MY MIND. plus by the time they got to me, it was late and everyone was leaving so a girl came up to me and really quickly painted my nails....they look horrible =/ So now not only do I feel totally awkward, but I have really badly painted nails! Tomorrow's going to be fun =___= Plus because our games are really early (so they finish before it gets dark) so 3rds (freshmen plus me) teams are getting early dismissal from classes. AWKWARD MOMENT IN AP CHEM INCOMING. "yeah um, I know I missed class yesterday cause of a field trip, but I have to miss half of class today too cause even though I'm a junior, I'm on the freshmen field hockey team!!" And it has to be during the ONE unit so far that I don't understand easily. I don't understand how you can figure out the results for some of these reactions!!
